  1. Great pictures! We heard a very loud cuckoo this morning. Now we have about 20 starlings visiting our pond, some of them obviously young ones. They are enjoying taking baths, but we wonder if they may also be eating tadpoles.

  2. Just guessing here, but I think starlings hunt on the ground, not so much in the water. Once tadpoles have turned into frogs and jump around in the grass, they might be starling-lunch.
